The recent tragic events in Artsakh led to the forced displacement of 120,000 people, including about 30,000 children. Some of these children have serious health issues and need medical treatment.
Remaining true to our Fund mission, we have initiated an important program aimed at providing children from Artsakh with the necessary medications. Some of these medications are not provided to children by state, are not registered in Armenia, or are too expensive, making them inaccessible to the families of sick children.
We are currently working closely with partner hospitals to assist all those children in need of support. Thanks to the invaluable support of Acba Bank, Armenian Relief Fund’s “Ayo” initiative, the Armenian Missionary Association of America, and the IDBank and Idram’ “’Power of One Dram” program, children are now receiving life-saving medications.
The Fund also supports children from Artsakh in undergoing various medical examinations to assess their health and intervene as necessary. Children from Artsakh have always been and will continue to be under the care of our Fund.
