Our Projects
The Fund provides individual support and implements various projects within the scope of support confirmed by the Board of Trustees, which includes the following diseases.
a) childhood cancer or blood problems (in all cases when the child’s treatment must be carried out in foreign medical institutions)
b) kidney or liver transplant
c) chronic respiratory problems
d) immune system disorders
e) severe neurological problems: encephalitis (autoimmune)
f) visceral leishmaniasis
g) aplastic anemia
h) immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP)
i) other life threatening diseases
The Foundation provides individual support and implements programmatic projects
Provision of Vital Medication
The Fund provides its beneficiaries with the necessary medications. A significant part of these medications is either expensive or inaccessible (not registered) in Armenia. The mentioned support is implemented by the Fund both individually and at the programmatic level, supplying its partner hospitals with an annual stock of the necessary medications.
Financing medical examinations and surgeries conducted in Armenia
The Fund finances the implementation of various necessary medical examinations and the organization of complex surgeries in partner pediatric clinics. In some cases, leading experts from abroad are invited for surgeries.
Financing treatment abroad
The Fund finances the treatment of children with serious health issues at the best clinics abroad. This support is provided only when such treatment is inaccessible in Armenia.
Equipping pediatric hospitals
The Fund supports the re-equipment of partner hospitals with necessary and up-to-date equipment, ensuring proper examination and treatment of children.
Financing medical workers' education/training
The Fund finances the education/training of medical workers at the world’s best medical centers and universities, as well as their participation in international conferences, contributing to the introduction of innovative methods in medicine.
Implementation of preventive and screening programs
The Fund supports the development and implementation of preventive and screening programs aimed at early detection and reduction of spread of dangerous health issues among children.
Implementation of research programs
The Fund carries out research works, develops legislative projects in cooperation with state bodies and partner hospitals to reform the healthcare system, make state expenditures more efficient, and ensure stable development in the sector.
