The History of the Fund's Creation
The Health Fund for Children of Armenia has been officially operating since June 1, 2021, with the purpose of assisting children with serious health problems. With the support of the Fund, numerous children have undergone various diagnostics, received expensive medication, and other treatments in Armenia. In cases where such treatment is not available locally, their necessary treatment was arranged in the world’s best clinics.
Before the official launch of the Fund, its founder Armen Martirosyan had been supporting children with serious health problems and their parents on an individual, voluntary basis for many years. For over a decade, he organized fundraisers with the help of his friends and supported more than 400 children to receive treatment in Armenia or in the best foreign clinics.
The experience and knowledge accumulated over the years showed the need for a more systematic approach to enable more children to receive quality medical aid and ideally without leaving their homeland.
This will also contribute to the development of healthcare in Armenia. Thus, the Fund was established, preserving the team’s humanitarian spirit while operating in a more systematic and professional manner.
Thanks to effective, devoted and consistent work, our Fund enjoys great public trust today. This trust has enabled us to become one of the largest health-focused Funds in Armenia and establish effective collaboration with leading Armenian and foreign clinics, governmental bodies, and various local and international organizations.

Our team
The Fund has a staff composed of high-ranking experts. In decision-making processes, a significant role is played by the Board of Trustees and Medical Board, which include individuals who are highly qualified and enjoy public authority.
Board of Trustees
The work of the fund is coordinated by the Board of Trustees together with the director.
Being experts in their respective fields, the members of the board contribute to the development of strategic directions, the attraction of necessary finances, the public promotion of the Fund’s activities, and the implementation of other key objectives.

Medical Board
The members of the Fund’s medical board provide professional opinions on each case involving a child that seeks support from the Fund. They thoroughly study each presented case and, if necessary, discuss it with relevant experts in Armenia and abroad. Along with this, the members of the medical board help to address healthcare sector challenges and present suggestions to the Fund’s staff, aiding in achieving institutional improvements.
